About Us

In May 2002, a group of Parents and Carers of children and young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) living in Perth and Kinross, came together to discuss the need for play and leisure activities for their children and young people. They were concerned there were little or no opportunities for their children to make friends, socialise with other children and learn new skills.

The Perth and Kinross ADHD (and associated social, emotional and behavioural issues) Support Group was therefore created in 2002, and gained charitable status in 2003.

We are in fact, the only organisation in Perth and Kinross who can offer in depth and continuous specialised service for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder.

It was then and still is, the aim of the Group, to support families in the area affected by this often misunderstood isolating, enduring and debilitating condition.
